We brush our dogs teeth with beef flavored toothpaste we buy from the vet. They love it and it seems to help with the build up they used to get.

The natural way - recreational bones. Dogs on a raw diet or with bones chew and naturally remove the buildup kibble causes.

We brush Boo's teeth as his get very bad as he only chews on one side of his mouth, the other dogs naw at bones with both sides though so we don't have to clean theirs very often. Willy if a dogs teeth aren't kept clean they can get quite serious abcesses that can lead to the teeth being removed.

Our dog VitaHound has bad dog breath and our concern is cleaning dog teeth with harsh chemicals would be hard on his system. There is a product advertised as Plaque Attack and is all natural, my husband and I want to be very careful with any product we put on VitaHound's teeth and gums. I have read several of the post and articles on Professor's House and I'm pleased to see a tone of holistic and natural approaches to dog health. VitaHound's bad breath has me worried that periodontal disease may be infecting his teeth and gums therefor I do not want to use a natural oral care product if it is not effective.
