How parents discipline their children has changed considerably over the last couple generations, do you think it has been for the best. What methods do you use to correct your children for bad behavior?

What do you mean "disipline your children", that is no longer allowed. Its getting to the point that if you take away thier TV privileges you stand a chance of loosing your children to social services. I don't think the 'belt' should be brought back but something has to change as far to many children have no respect for authority.

Time-out and teen boarding school are so far the best method in changing behavior for my kid and teens. The only key to making the whole affair successful is being consistent in terms of using time-out while in boarding schools they offer an environment for teens that are struggling and need to work on improving their behaviors..
