Why do some juice brands say “unsweetened” and yet taste like they have sugar in them?

I read from the web site of Alberta Health Services that when the label says "unsweetened" it means no sugar is added or that no foods containing sugar are added.  But there can be natural sugars present as in the example of juice.  That's probably why the juice tastes sweet even if it says "unsweetened."

that means that there was no sugar added to the juice before preserving it. it still tastes sweet because it contains natural sugars.

You are so right. Orange Juice has a sweet taste period.
