Hello Everyone,

I did not see any part of the forum set specifically for introductions, so I thought I would post mine here. I am Lissy, a freelance writer and cat lover. I like to socialize at different forums, and this one looks very neat - you even have a separate Cat section!

Hi, Lissy,

Nice to meet you!  Welcome, I'm new too.  How many cats do you have?

Hello Lissy,

Warm welcome to you.  I see we have some writers on board.  That's great.  Maybe we can share some of our writing experiences.

Here's a question:  if you're asked to write about something you don't know much about, do you:

a) decline the mandate?

b)  accept it and do as much research as you can?

c)  what is your primary source of research? (a) Internet, (b) local library (c) someone who's an expert in that field?

This is indeed a very nice forum to share your thoughts and opinions, and get to know others as well.

Maria, I've been given writing assignments before knowing nothing about the subject. I research via  the Internet and library, then I take the draft and find an expert to run it past. I never release anything until I feel comfortable with it. If there's any doubt in my mind about it, I look it over again. I always trust my instincts!

Hello Lissy, nice to "meet" you. I am new to this forum too and I enjoy it myself. I love cats too and have three of them in the house. How many do you have?
