I've always suspected that Canadian banks are one of the best in the world. They're staffed by humans so there are mistakes of course, but I've always enjoyed my banking relationships. Can you guys and gals share what are some of the things you like most about your bank without mentioning names? Don't know if David would like that If you're American, I'm sure you too are proud of your bank so share your story! I can give 2 things: 1) They raise my credit limit without me asking! 2) They personalize my phone banking experience. Example: "Thank you for punching in your client card number, Maria. What can I do to help you today? and then..."Is there anything else I can do for you, Maria?" Wow, and wow twice! Your turn!

Its the customer friendly option used by the banks to attract attention and investments. I think its a very good way of doing business.Further it improves its reputation.

Their follow-up calls. Here's an example of a telephone conversation I had recently: Caller: Our records show that you spoke with one of our representatives at XYZ branch recently On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being very satisfied, how would you rate your dealing with that representative? Me: I'd give it an 11 because I was extremely satisfied. Caller: Er...hmmm...sorry ma'am, our computer is programmed to take only a 10. Me: Well...make that a 10 then.
