As a writer, I spend a ton of time on the Internet.

When one does, one cannot escape spam mail and web ads for working from home, most using the Internet to make money.  Most make outrageous and surely unobtainable claims.  Most require money up front or some sort of monthly membership fee - MLM type stuff.

I am wondering, though, if anyone has truly found something legit... and realistic... where yeah, maybe you could make decent cash, but where a hundred, a few hundred, a little bit more is actually possible with some consistency.

Not trying to make this an ad for everyone's favorite scam :-> but I have been thinking about this a lot and wonder about people's experiences and what else might be out there.

Hi,

I'd like to suggest you visit squidoo.  People who create lens there can make some money by being an affiliate of amazon, cafe press and commission junction.  There's a very helpful community as well to answer questions.  Check it out and let me know.

I would like to have discussion here. For lack of time to go to many other sites is one reason but also the only way to actually get discussions going is to have discussions.

I agree Jan.

Constant Content looks interesting.

I am sort of confused though as to how it works from a writer's standpoint?

I don't know if Associated Content still exists but I heard good things about.  Another is Helium.

Good information, Jan.  Didn't know Helium paid only at the end of the month.  Was going to sign up a few days ago but somehow I held back, not sure if I could commit.

As for other things, I was told that you could make baits for fly-fishing.  I guess that's an art all by itself, but it certainly is worth looking into.

The only one I've found that allows multiple transfers is Associated Content. The others test our budgeting skills! lol
