We planted gourds and pumpkins this year.  Last year we had some gourds just grow. It was next to the house- Very odd spot. I'm thinking when we were taking the old gourds to be tossed- one must have dropped and rotted there?  Enough for the seeds to be there to make a new plant.

The pumpkins did awesome.  We had several Large pumpkins- and some smaller ones too.
